Cookie Policy (UE)

What are cookies and other tools used by the Site?

Cookies are small text files that are sent by the Site to the devices of Users who visit the Site and are then sent back to the Site on subsequent visits; they may have different characteristics and be used for different purposes, either by the owner of the Site or by third parties providing technical services to the owner or directly to the User.

The Site uses different types of cookies, in compliance with the “Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools” issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority in accordance with the General Provision No. 231 of 10 June 2021.

In this sense, cookies can be divided into “first-party” cookies, when they are installed directly by the Site, and “third-party” cookies, when they involve access to features and services provided by third parties other than the Owner.

Some of the cookies used by this Site are “technical”- they are installed automatically when you access the Site – and therefore do not require your consent. Technical cookies are divided into session cookies, which are deleted from your device when the browser and/or tab is closed, and persistent cookies, which remain in your device’s memory after you close the Site.

With the User’s consent, the Site also uses cookies – both first and third party – classified as “profiling”: they personalize and improve the User’s experience.

Other elements, classified by the GDPR as ‘online identifiers’, are also implemented, which allow the analysis and monitoring of the Site’s functionalities and allow the User to access specific services. Some of them do not involve the installation of content on the tool used by the User to connect to the Site, and they allow the minimization of the processing of personal data carried out, thus complying with the requirements of the “Digital Markets Act” (EU Reg. 2022/1925) and not interfering with the regulations provided for by the so-called “ePrivacy Directive” (Dir. 2002/58/EC).
